There is more than one way to be part of the church
Whether you are interested in worshipping online, joining onsite, or a mixture of both, Christ the King is a community for all. What works for you is what works for us.
Let's meet each other where we are.
Let's figure it out together
We want to know your name, your pronouns, your story. Share at your own pace.
All are welcome, no exceptions.
What do Lutherans believe?
We believe that grace is at the heart of our faith.
This is reflected in 2 Corinthians 12:9, which states that God's grace is sufficient for us no matter what. Martin Luther also taught that God's grace is greater than any measure of sin we may have. God loves and forgives us unconditionally, and we cannot earn or lose this love or salvation.
We believe that the Bible is a beautiful and challenging library of texts full of diverse genres.
We rely on the gospels most of all. In worship, we rise to listen to the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John as they tell the story of Jesus.
Other faiths have much to teach us.
We also respect the sacred practices of other religions and strive to work together to create a more just and compassionate world.
