Tyler Ruddy

Originally a native of the high deserts of New Mexico, Tyler and his family found their way to North Carolina in 2016 and have called Wake Forest their new home in the years since. Tyler, a recent graduate from Appalachian State University with a Degree in Political Science, is now a seminarian at Duke Divinity. Tyler has been serving CTK since September 2025 as CTK’s seminarian, including extensive work and involvement with Young Adult Ministry and Confirmation. Tyler is passionate about forming intentional relationships between the church and the larger community, sharing God’s grace to all, and sparking dialogue on how we might break the bonds of division and polarization. Outside of ministry, Tyler loves all things sports, hiking, and is an avid book worm.
